I AM HUNGRY

I'm back from the dead!  Actually, I'm back to cooking and shooting, and as a "comeback", I decided to feature one of my leftover delights―Baked Chicken Pot Pie That Looks Like Shepherd's Pie!

I know, the title itself is a mouthful (pun intended), but that's what it is!  Basically, it's leftover roasted chicken, shredded; baby carrots; a sliced celery stalk;  all-purpose cream or cream of mushroom soup; whole kernel corna wee bit of salt; a dash of pepper and a dash of cumin powder.  I put everything together in a deep baking dish, tossed them around a bit and spread everything into a nice layer.  Then I topped the whole thing with a thick layer of mashed potatoes (made from boiled and mashed real potatoes and butter), and popped the dish into a hot oven to bake until the top is golden brown.

I didn't bother much with the proportion because this dish is what you can call maski-paps (maski papaano, in English, anything goes!).  Because the ingredients are really friendly ingredients, and adding more of one or the other will in no way ruin the dish. So whether you're a carrot lover, a celery fanatic, or corn-crazy, don't let anyone stop you from adding more!

I hope you enjoy this one!
